BPI Family lists best Phl franchises

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - BPI Family Savings Bank (BPI Family) has released the BPI Family Ka-Negosyo Best List, the roster of some of the best and brightest franchise brands. As a prime mover in the growing franchising industry, BPI Family, through its Ka-Negosyo program, encourages starting-up and seasoned entrepreneurs to realize more and bigger potential for business growth through franchising.

BPI Family president Teodoro K. Limcaoco said that the thrift bank of the Ayala Group wants to make it easy for entrepreneurs to start-up, grow and expand their businesses.

“We are providing not just aspiring entrepreneurs but also seasoned franchisees more and better opportunities for business success,” Limcaoco added.

Contributing to the underlying growth of micro-, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country, franchising has become a trusted trend for Filipino entrepreneurs in reaching for their business success. The Philippines, in fact, has the potential to surpass China’s growth in franchising, posting a 17-percent growth from $9.4 billion in 2010 to $11 billion in 2011.

“The continuous growth of the franchising industry in the country is a positive indicator of success for MSMEs. We believe that these entrepreneurs deserve convenient access to affordable financing programs such as the BPI Family Ka-Negosyo Franchising Loan,” he added.

With BPI Family Ka-Negosyo, the best franchise brands today have been stamped with the Ka-Negosyo Best List Seal that mark them as financially sound businesses that provide ample marketing, training, and operations support for franchisees.

Choosing from the Ka-Negosyo Best List also allows franchisees to take advantage of the Ka-Negosyo Franchise financing programs such as the no collateral option and the “lite payment mode” in which franchisees pay interest on the first six months and start paying for the principal payment on the seventh month. This payment mode makes franchising even easier as the franchisee’s freed up funds can be allotted for other start-up costs.

Currently, the growing roster of Ka-Negosyo Best list brands include Aquabest, Bodega Site, Fruitas, Generika, Hungry Juan, Julie’s Bakeshop, Lydia’s Lechon, Ministop, Phoenix Petroleum, PR Gaz, Razon’s, Antz The Bread Factory, Aqua 2000, Avon, Bibingkinitan, Buko ni Fruitas, Caltex Service Stations, Crystal Clear, Fiorgelato, Fujitsu Philippines Inc., I-Pay Western Union Direct Agents, Laundrybest, Lay Bare Waxing Salon, Minute Burger, Monterey Meatshop, Mr. Quickie, Netopia Internet Cafe, Oxyplus, Petron Dealers Association Inc. (PETDA), Seaoil, V-Cargo Logistics, and Waffle Time.
