Smart Money for rural banks

MANILA, Philippines - The Smart Money Accreditation Training Course for rural banks held in Intramuros by the Rural Bankers Research and Development Training Foundation (RBRDTF), Smart Communications Inc. and RBAP’s Microenterprise Access to Banking Services (MABS) program. Attendees learned how to activate their new Smart Money cash card, transferring money and reloading by just using a mobile phone, the process of consolidating, settling and reconciling record entries, and the Money in Money Out (MIMO) services geared for rural banks. The Smart Money Wallet is an electronic wallet that lets users, even when they are in far-flung areas, do all kinds of transactions like bills payment and airtime reloading through the use of phone. What makes this Smart Money Wallet particularly interesting is, it can be used as a debit MasterCard and ATM card. Withdrawing, paying, transferring money and purchasing are now easier for RB clients anywhere in the Philippines or, in the world with SmartMoney Wallet.
