MANILA, Philippines - The Maybank ATR Kim Eng Securities Inc. (Maybank ATR KE Securities) has been ranked first among the trading participants in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) in terms of value turnover for the year 2011. In a PSE report, Maybank ATR KE Securities recorded a total turnover value of P265.13 billion for 2011, equivalent to the largest market share among brokers of 9.32 percent. Foreign brokers Deutsche Regis Partners Inc. and CLSA Philippines Inc. ranked second and third for the year with market shares of 8.65 percent and 7.36 percent, respectively. The bourse’s total market value turnover for 2011 reached P2.85 trillion, up 18 percent from the P2.41 trillion recorded in the previous year. The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) increased slightly from 2010’s level as it ended the year up four percent to 4,371.96.
