ATR KimEng bags awards

MANILA, Philippines - Finance Asia, a leading regional financial print and online publishing company, has named two companies from the ATR KimEng Group with major awards in its Country Awards for Achievement 2011: Philippines, an annual look at the best financial services firms in each country around the region. Investment house ATR KimEng Capital Partners Inc. (ATRKE Capital) won the Best Equity House award while its stock brokerage subsidiary ATR KimEng Securities Inc. (ATRKE Securities) was chosen Best Broker. ATRKE Capital, a full-service investment bank, was cited for its role in all equity capital market transactions in 2009 and 2010. The company was a lead underwriter on the initial public offerings (IPO) of Cebu Air in October last year and Nickel Asia in November, helping to raise a combined $660 million for these companies. ATRKE Capital and ATRKE Securities are members of the ATR KimEng Group, a diversified financial services group listed and traded on the Philippine Stock Exchange, and specializing in capital markets, insurance, real estate and other investments.
