DBP supports 380 new scholars

MANILA, Philippines - The Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) is supporting 380 new scholars under the third year of its DBP Endownment for Education Program (DEEP), a corporate social responsibility initiative that sends poor but deserving high school students to college. This year’s batch of DSEEP scholars is composed of maritime, technical and vocational, as well as agriculture students enrolled in 12 different colleges and universities across the country. To date, the bank is supporting 860 scholars enrolled in various courses such as nursing, human resource management, education, forestry, maritime technical and vocational sourses since the program launch in 2008.
