Standard Insurance scholars in July concert

MANILA, Philippines - Standard Insurance presents their two talented scholars and young violinists in a concert dubbed ‘My Dreams for My Children” on July 18, at the Far Eastern University, Morayta, Manila. Violinists Regina Buenaventura and Diomedes Saraza Jr. are slated to perform together with Manila Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Prof. Arturo Molina, in two-hour concert.

The concert’s producer, Standard Insurance, is one of the violinists’ staunch supporters, with their advocacy of championing education, culture, and the arts. Both studying music in top music schools in the US –Buenaventura at the Bienen School of Music of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, while Saraza at the Juilliard School, New York.

Buenaventura and Saraza have won first place in the National Music Competition for Young Artists. Promising to be a showcase of extraordinary talent, both violinists will be performing an impressive repertoire. Saraza will be performing Saint-Saens’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso and the first movement of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major.
