MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine National Bank (PNB) has a special treat for dollar-depositors with the launch of the 2010 raffle promotion where three brand new cars are up for grabs.
New and existing (individual and joint) depositors who open and maintain a PNB Dollar Savings Account, Dollar Savings-Special-OCW/Beneficiary Account, Dollar Checking Account or Greencheck Account from June 1 to Nov. 30, 2010 get a chance to win a 2010 Hyundai Tucson GL 2WD (MT) or one of two 2010 Toyota Vios Js (MT). These prizes are being given away tax-free.
To qualify for raffle points, accountholders only need to make a fresh deposit of $500 during the six-month promo period. Existing depositors get one electronic raffle entry for every $500 incremental deposit. On top of this, every $500 of their May 2010 year-to-date average daily balance (ADB) will be entitled to additional raffle numbers.
New clients, on the other hand, get a raffle point for every $500 of their computed average month-to-date ADB for six months. Hence, the bigger the deposit, the more chances one get to drive home a brand new car.
PNB president and chief executive officer Eugene S. Acevedo said that PNB aims to reciprocate the continuing trust and loyalty of its clients by making their dream of having a brand new car come true sooner than expected.
“This promotion is also a token of appreciation to our overseas Filipino workers for saving their dollar earnings with PNB in order to provide financial security for their families,” Acevedo added.
PNB is one of the country’s largest private commercial banks. It provides a wide range of banking products and services for the retail, corporate and institutional markets. It ended the first quarter of 2010 with a net income of P889 million, up 22 percent year-on-year.
