More upgrading seminars for rural bankers
MANILA, Philippines - The Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP), through the Rural Bankers’ Research and Development Foundation Inc. (RBRDFI), will conduct two seminar-workshops as part of its continuing strategy to strengthen the rural banking industry. On July 22 and 23, it will hold the basic course on property appraisal seminar at the RBAP main office at A. Soriano Ave., cor. Arzobispo St., Intramuros, Manila. “We enjoin rural banks to send their appraisers, credit investigators, loan officers and managers to attend the seminar,” Tomas S. Gomez IV, outgoing RBRDFI chairman said. Then on July 29 and 30, another seminar workshop on remedial management will be held also at the RBAP premises. The main speaker will be Ricardo de Vera, MBAP, CSP. He is a certified international trainer in Singapore and Japan, and the chairman emeritus of PMAC.
