Manulife names new CEO

MANILA, Philippines - Manulife Philippines has named Indren Naidoo as new president and chief executive officer as Carl Steven Gustini, will assume the country manager position in Manulife Vietnam.

Naidoo has worked in the Philippines for over eight years as chief financial officer for two major multinational life insurance companies. His responsibilities in this capacity included development of business strategy, product design and regular interaction with and support of sales force channels, including agency, bancassurance and alternative channels.

He has over 11 years experience as a corporate banker with ANZ Banking Group in Australia. Naidoo holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) & CPA and a Graduate Diploma in Computing from Monash University in Australia as well as a Diploma of Management from the University of Michigan Business School in the US.
