Lahug-Cebu branch opens

-

MANILA, Philippines – ChinaBank Savings, a subsidiary of China Banking Corp., opened its Cebu-Lahug branch last June 5 at the ground floor of Skyrise 3 IT Building in Barangay Apas, Lahug, Cebu City.

The branch is ChinaBank Savings’ first branch in Cebu and its third to be opened so far. Last May 22, the savings bank’s Quezon Avenue Branch began operations. “We’re earnestly following through with our commitment to make banking easy for customers,” said ChinaBank Savings president Samuel L. Chiong. “This new branch allows us to expand our kind of ‘know-you-by-name service’ to families and businesses here in Cebu.”

The Cebu-Lahug branch is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. The savings bank is targeting to have a nationwide network of 30 branches by 2011.

In the pipeline this year are three more branches in Greenhills-Wilson, Caloocan and Alabang.
