MANILA, Philippines – The AXA Group was ranked by Forbes Asia Magazine as one of the Top 100 companies in the world for 2008 in its most recent issue of the “Global 2,000: The Biggest Public Companies.”

It ranked the AXA Group as the 14th largest company in the world in terms of total sales with almost $157 million, and 23rd in terms of its size in total assets generated in 2008.

AXA Philippines is one of the largest life insurance companies in the country, and the dominant market leader in variable life insurance.
