RCBC offers savings for OFWs

-

MANILA, Philippines – The Rizal Commercial and Banking Corp. (RCBC) is offering a bank savings product with overseas Filipinos in mind.

The Dollar Dragon Savings Account is a US dollar savings account that combines high interest rates with easy accessibility to one’s cash. The interest rate is applied on a tiered basis, which means that the higher the balance, the greater the interest gets.

According to Ismael R. Sandig, RCBC executive vice president and Retail Banking head, this new product helps the bank become more competitive in the market.

“A growing number of customers are demanding greater flexibility and higher financial returns particularly when it comes to foreign currency deposits. It is always a welcome challenge for us at RCBC to meet their financial expectations,” Sandig said.

This new product makes funds easily available to the accountholder by allowing unlimited withdrawals free from service fees. No matter how many withdrawals one makes, the balance still gets a much higher interest than ordinary savings accounts. A specially designed passbook helps keep track of one’s deposit and withdrawal transactions.

RCBC Dragon Dollar Savings Account holders can also get the convenience of monitoring their accounts anytime, anywhere courtesy of a number of secure channels offered by the bank.

There’s RCBC Access One, an all-in-one Internet banking service that provides one of the fastest, most convenient ways to access an RCBC account, view balances, transfer funds and pay bills.
