PSBank unfurls electronic convenience banking

The Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) is introducing a banking solution that allows a bank client to check account balance, pay bills, re-order checkbooks, or transfer funds, right in the comfort of your home, office or Internet café.  

PSBank Remote Banking is an online solution like having a bank branch 24/7.

And no need to go to your depository branch to enroll. Simply register through the bank’s website www.psbank.com.ph and have the basic customer information validated by phone. This feature is a boon, in particular, to clients who are overseas or based here but whose work schedule or distance prevents them from visiting a PSBank branch.

PSBank senior vice president for E-Banking Jaime V.L. Araneta expects the new enrollment facility to encourage the majority of their clients to discover the convenience of PSBank Remote Banking.

“PSBank is connecting more and more of the dots to reach our customers at various touch points. We’re doing all we can to make banking as simple, secure and convenient as possible. That’s the PSBank way,” Araneta said.

What’s more, even non-clients here and abroad can apply for “paperless” loans through the bank’s website. Existing depositors have that option, too, aside from the online loan application module right within PSBank Remote Banking.

Either route enables the auto, home, personal or business loan application to flow in round-the-clock to PSBank’s proprietary Integrated Loan Application Processing System (ILAPS). Loan status is advised, within the bank’s vaunted turnaround time, via e-mail and SMS (short messaging service).

PSBank Remote Banking complements the bank’s 163 branches, 165 ATMs, and other distribution channels to enable easy, safe and efficient transactions.

PSBank’s newly redesigned website provides automated validation of bank certificates and TITF (Treasurer-in-Trust-for) certificates for the benefit of embassies/consulates and the Securities and Exchange Commission, respectively. This latest service expedites the approval process for visas of departing Filipinos and registrations of new corporations.

PSBank Remote Banking will soon expand its Online Customer Registration to existing borrowers and PSBank MasterCard holders without PSBank deposit accounts. Enhancements would include monitoring of loan balances, printing of statements of account, and other transactional information.
