What makes it very competitive both in design and application, is its affordable price.
“The most basic application is just P82,000 for those already using MicroBanker and willing to migrate to MBv8,” MBPhil director Ferdinande B. Quizon said.
For new clients, it is worth P250,000. And for the most comprehensive MBv8 application, it is P400,000.
Quizon said that similar commercial applications are prized as high as P1.2 million.
“Rural banks for example can start with the most basic applications of MBv8 and upgrade their systems as required,” Quizon said, adding that MBv8 is a complete banking application based on a business solution for the rural and thrift banks using a Windows-based core banking software system.
It is fully integrated for deposits, loans, microfinance, general ledger and customer information modules. It is compliant to the reportorial requirements and exhibits great security, flexibility and user-friendliness sought by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Anti Money Laundering Council (AMLC).
It can interface with ATMs and PDAs as well as MABS and PCFC microfinance-capable. It can also interface with banks, non-bank institutions as well as companies like Smart Communications and Globe Telecommunications. — TPT
