Asiatrust, Equitable PCI Bank keep some branches open

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDC), the Equitable PCI Bank, and Asiatrust Bank will remain operational during the holidays.

The PDIC is open for business on Dec. 26-28 to service claims for insured deposits. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In a statement, the PDIC said that the decision to hold office during the long holiday season is in line with its commitment to serve the public particularly depositors of banks closed during the year.

Meanwhile, selected Asiatrust Bank’s branches with Saturday banking will be open on Dec. 22 & 29 including: Antipolo, Bacoor, Binondo, Greenbelt, Las Piñas, Masinag, Novaliches & Roosevelt (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), Tutuban Center Mall (11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.), Banawe (12:00 nn to 5:00 p.m.), and Ever Commonwealth & Nova Plaza Mall (12:00 nn to 7:00 p.m.).

The following mall branches will also be open on Sunday, December 23 & 30: Ever-Commonwealth and Nova Plaza Mall (12 nn — 7 p.m.); Tutuban Center Mall (1 p.m. — 5 p.m.).

Likewise on Dec. 31, Monday, the following branches will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 nn (Binondo, Tutuban Center Mall, Nova Plaza Mall & Ever Commonwealth).

Equitable PCI Bank will open 21 of its branches in Metro Manila and several provinces nationwide on Dec. 24 and 31 for the convenience of its valued customers.

For their banking transactions, Equitable PCI Bank clients may visit any of the following Metro Manila branches: Forest Hills-Novaliches, 8th Ave-Grace Park, Lapu-Lapu-Northbay, Makati Cinema Square, Neptune-Makati Avenue, NAIA 1, Redemptorist Road-Baclaran, and Manuela Metropolis-Alabang.

Depositors who are based in Luzon may transact at the following branches: Waltermart-Calamba, A. Mabini-Biñan, P. Burgos-Batangas City, Gen. Luna-Naga, Rizal St.-Legaspi, Lipa-Rotonda, Quezon Avenue-Lucena, and Waltermart-Sta. Rosa.

Meanwhile, for clients in Mindanao, the following branches will be open: CM Recto-Davao City, Sta. Ana-Davao City, Pendatun-General Santos, R. Alunan-Koronadal, and Bankerohan-Davao City.
