Sila Sen.
Totoo ba ‘to?,’ sabi ko nagte-take kami ‘saglit lang ah?’
Kasi as an artista, gusto ko naman ipakita sa lahat ng tao na you know, from drama to heavy drama to acting and international films and now to sitcom. Parang gusto kong makita ng iba, ibang side of me. And to be offered and handpicked by Sen. Bong was wow, it was like unexpected.
“Hindi ko in-expect na makakasama ako sa Sundance because when I was making the film, we haven’t had talks like that, the first thing na napa-oo ako sa In My Mother’s Skin kasi it was shot in Bacolod in the Oro Plata Mata house. It’s a Philippine icon, ‘di ba, that house, that movie. And to be shooting there again, and believe it or not, buhay pa ‘yung may-ari.
“Yeah, he’s still there. Ako, mahilig ako sa Philippine antiques eh. I love Philippine contemporary arts, so nung nalaman ko du’n pa ‘yung shooting, kahit hindi ko pa alam ‘yung istorya, ‘go!’
“Gusto ko lang talaga, you know, I love collecting these things ‘cause I want to be the caretaker of our history.
“That’s the reason why I’m so into these mga Philippine antiquities and art. And yeah, I didn’t expect it and nung sinabi sa amin na kasama kami sa Sundance, pumunta ako and also a great experience and I saw Anne Hathaway, I saw a lot of producers, I saw Dakota Johnson sa Fifty Shades of Grey,” excited pa na pag-aalala ng actress sa naging karanasan niya sa nasabing prestigious international fimfest na dinaluhan.
Dagdag pa ng actress na pinakilala kahapon bilang newest face of Hey Pretty Skin : “It was a great experience because I get to network myself to other also, hopefully there is one coming this year I’ll be working abroad so hopefully we’ll see kung matutuloy. It was a beautiful experience and to top it all, binili na ng Amazon ‘yung movie namin so we are part of Amazon and it’s coming out this July or June. It’s really like unexpected talaga.
Anyway, in a media conference held last Friday (April 14) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Hey Pretty Skin CEO Anne Barretto formally introduced Beauty as its first celebrity endorser sa entertainment press and Hey Pretty Skin distributors from different parts of the country.
“I am very thankful for the trust they have given me. Hey Pretty Skin has been in the market for only one year and for them to pick me as their first celebrity endorser is really a big deal. I must admit, I feel a bit of pressure, but I trust Ms Anne, her vision, and most importantly, I believe in her products and how it can really help people achieve better glowing skin and feel good inside,” ayon kay Beauty.
Beauty is endorsing various Hey Pretty Skin products that includes the top selling Neoglow Set and Kojieko soap, the Prestige Glow Set, Tinted Sunscreen, Happy Lift Serum, Facial Foam Cleanser, and the Angel White Body Scrub.
