MANILA, Philippines - VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific Co. Ltd., a professional trade and consumer exhibition organizer based in Thailand, together with the Philippine organizer of Agrilink, Foundation for Resource Linkage & Development (FRLD) will hold a press conference on Jan. 16, 2015 at the Holiday Inn & Suites, located at Palm Drive, Ayala Center, Makati, as part of its international campaign to promote VIV ASIA, an international trade expo for animal husbandry and processing.
The press conference will be attended by representatives from the Department of Agriculture and its regional agencies, as well as other trade associations and private stakeholders.
As part of its industry focus, VIV ASIA 2015 will feature more than 850 exhibitors from over 40 countries, bringing together global market leaders as well as regional and national Asian stakeholders of growing importance.
Aside from showcasing technologies, inputs and innovations in poultry processing, the event will also highlight pork production, in support of invitations sent especially to the top pig producers in the Asian region, including several of the leading international suppliers of pig equipment.
Other animal protein sectors are represented in the show’s line-up, as demonstrated by the aquatic Asia and dairy tech conferences and pavilion areas arranged for the aquaculture and the dairy businesses.
VIV ASIA 2015 will also have a combined conference and pavilion area specifically for biogas in relation to animal agriculture. Additional conferences for the event include a pork summit on pig production techniques, a meat tech seminar on links between marketing and technology in meat and eggs, an egg business conference for Asia introduced by the International Egg Commission and an animal health seminar hosted by the Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations.
VIV ASIA 2015 is slated from March 13 to 15, 2015 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Thailand. VIV Asia 2015 is the starting event in line with the Agri-Food Business Week Asia in Bangkok. It will be followed by HortiASIA and AGRI-Asia, which will cater to horticultural and floricultural technologies, and agricultural machineries, to be held at BITEC from March 17 to 19, 2015.
