PCO training course set

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Environmental Management Bureau NCR and the Water Environment Association of the Philippines (WEAP) will conduct a basic training course for new pollution control officers (PCO) on May 20-23 at the Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.

Director Ramon Aguilar will spearhead the training to enable the industrial companies to improve their environmental management, pollution prevention and cleaner production programs.

The four-day seminar will orient the PCO trainees on the different environmental laws and their corresponding implementing rules and regulations, EMB policies and programs, and PCO duties and responsibilities.
