DENR, WEAP set training for pollution control officers
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)-Environmental Management Bureau (NCR) and the Water Environment Association of the Philippines (WEAP) will conduct a “Basic Training Course for New Pollution Control Officers (PCOs)” on Dec. 11-14 at Great Eastern, Hotel,
The four-day seminar will orient prospective PCOs on the different environmental laws and their implementing rules and regulations, EMB policies and programs and PCO duties and responsibilities.
Director Ramon Aguilar will spearhead the training to enable the industries to improve their environmental management, pollution prevention and cleaner production.
