NQFC, the leading producer of quality farm-bred meats in Mindanao, bested four other slaughterhouses with "AAA" category all over the country during the celebration of 13th Meat Safety Consciousness Week of DA-NMIS last Oct. 17-21.
Ricky R. Floirendo, senior vice president of NQFC, said: "This recognition is the fruit of our commitment to the consumers. And we are very glad that we could provide our clients with the best quality meat through a very hygienic food process and preparation."
Established in 1991, the NQFC plant was one of the first automated slaughterhouses in the country with technology and materials obtained from Belgium, Germany, and England in conformity with European standards. This is the 6th time that NQFC was named Cleanest Triple A Slaughterhouse by DA-NMIS.
NQFC maintains the strictest standards and the highest level of quality when it comes to proper food preparation. All the machines and raw materials used in all NQFC products must pass through rigorous tests before being shipped out to be sold in the supermarket and stores.
NQFC has been catering not only to meat demands of the Mindanaons, but also to the Luzon area. In fact, it entered into a tieup with Pampanga Association of Meat Processors (PAMPRO) in 2004. The business expanded with the inclusion of other meat processor associations like Foodsphere Food Corp., Kings and R. Lapids.
"We set high standards in dealing with people, we study product innovations, intensify customer service campaign, and most important we give strong emphasis on hygiene. NQFC dont just sell meats, we sell high-standard, clean quality meat products that satisfy customers needs," Floirendo said.
