Leisure Farms Adventures, an agricultural theme park, welcomes flocks of little farmers to an interactive farm theme park waiting to be explored.
Composed of a series of small farms, Leisure Farms Adventures showcases different crops and agricultural technology, packaged for the entertainment and education of kids, as well as curious adults. Visitors explore the farm with their five senses: they smell the herbs, touch the worms, and even taste some freshly roasted fishes.
"Its easy to teach kids about farming outside the classroom, in the outdoors thats what Leisure Farms Adventures is all about. Fun and activities to stimulate learning," says Mike Reyes, AVP of Leisure Farms. "Our theme park is armed with activities, things to pique kids curiosity and lead them to explore and learn."
With fun trivia, activities, matching games, planting, etc., Leisure Farms Adventures introduces the little ones of the farms favorite crops: juicy watermelons, different types of lettuce, giant tomatoes, tiny tomatoes, and the freshest, fragrant herbs: arugula, coriander, parsley thyme, rosemary, peppermint, oregano, dill, tarragon. Kids learn about seeds, plants, and soil while learning to plant. Theres a kiddie vegetable garden, a tool area, and treehouse for them to explore.
Wiggly the Worm, Timmy Tilapia, and the Quiz Bee, busiest creature on the farm, are among the farm friends imparting their valuable knowledge and keeping everyone entertained. Aside from these mascots, meet other farmers, and even Leisure Farms residents who have discovered the joy of farming at Leisure Farms.
On the more educational side, theres a lesson in technology in each zone. The flower farm showcases technology that grows flowers without soil. The organic farm featuring products grown without synthetic fertilizer, using all-natural farm ingredients. High on Hybrids features hybrid crops such as round eggplants, yellow watermelons, white and purple bell peppers, while orienting the visitors on the hybrid process. Worms Worlds all-natural fertilizer factory will be an attraction for the kids. Theyll learn how earthworms make fertilizer, and find out why it is the best in the world.
Leisure Farms Adventures is also designed to be a place to relax, and socialize. The Village Store Café, situated in the Village store, serves Figaro coffee and fresh sandwiches.
Another place to hang out is the fishing lake, with the nearby picnic site. The fishing area is equipped with cleaning and cooking tools. Little huts are lined up beside the lake area for family picnics.
