The new credit program, provides purchase orders to the beneficiaries for their subsequent farm input needs. The tomato program targets to serve the credit requirements of 4,000 tomato farmers tilling 1,000 hectares in Ilocos Norte covering the planting season for this years fourth quarter.
The launching of the Financing Program for Pineapple Growers successfully kicked off just recently in Tboli, South Cotabato. The municipalities of Tboli and Surallah in South Cotabato are considered two of the best areas in the production of export quality pineapples.
