Binhi Awards on

Binhi Awards – a yearly contest among journalists in the field of agriculture, agrarian reform and environment – is now on. Cash prizes and trophies totaling P500,000 await the winners.

Initiated by the Philippine Agricultural Journalists, Inc. (PAJ), the Binhi Awards for 2001-2002 features eight categories. These include: agricultural journalist (one each for English and Filipino), beat reporter, radio program, magazine, newsletter, info/media campaign, and photojournalist

The contest is open to all members of national and local publications, government and private agencies, industry associations, NGOs foundations and cooperatives. Coverage is from July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2002

The PAJ, now on its 25th year, is an association of writers, reporters and editors of national and local publications, broadcasters, photojournalists and information writers of government and private agencies.
