DigiPlus doubles users in 2024
MANILA, Philippines — Digital entertainment company DigiPlus Interactive Corp. continues to attract more players in the country, doubling its registered users last year.
DigiPlus chairman Eusebio Tanco said the company ended 2024 with 40 million registered users, up from the 20 million users it had in 2023.
Tanco is optimistic that the company will continue to grow its user base, especially as the company is working to expand operations to Brazil.
“It will improve to a certain extent, but maybe not at the rate we have now,” he said.
DigiPlus, the company behind digital entertainment platforms BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone, has been strengthening its position in the country’s digital entertainment landscape.
Last year, the company launched diversified offerings that cater to a broader spectrum of demographics.
The company is also undertaking its maiden international expansion this year by entering Brazil’s gaming market.
Together with its social development arm BingoPlus Foundation, DigiPlus yesterday launched its Pusta de Peligro Responsible Gaming campaign with the premiere of three short films.
Pusta de Peligro builds on DigiPlus and BingoPlus Foundation’s long-standing commitment to responsible gaming.
Previous initiatives such as the Tamang Laro, Tamang Panalo webinar series and financial coaching programs for jackpot winners have paved the way for this latest campaign to engage players more deeply and meaningfully.
DigiPlus said that it has raised the bar for responsible gaming by integrating self-exclusion features in its platforms.
These provide players with tools that enable them to take control of their gaming habits, including options to set daily gaming durations, customize specific gaming schedules and establish daily loss limits.
“We hope this campaign will spark a national conversation about responsible gaming. We want players to feel empowered to make wise choices, families to feel reassured and communities to see gaming as a safe form of entertainment. The Pusta de Peligro campaign is a crucial step toward that vision,” Tanco said.
“We’re just getting started. Responsible gaming is the foundation of a sustainable gaming industry. With Pusta de Peligro, we’re proving that advocacy and innovation can go hand in hand to create a safer, more enjoyable gaming environment for all,” he said.
