MANILA, Philippines — Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI), a listed real estate developer focused in the Visayas and Mindanao, is venturing into co-working spaces as part of the company’s business diversification initiatives.

CLI has launched its first co-working space in Cebu City called WorkNook.

With Cebu emerging as a hub for remote work and startups, CLI said that WorkNook offers freelancers, small businesses and students an innovative workspace solution tailored to modern needs.

“Our goal is to support professionals seeking alternatives to working from home in a modern, positive work environment,” CLI senior vice president for marketing and leasing Joanna Soberano-Bergundthal said.

CLI said that WorkNook offers private offices, co-working areas and fully equipped meeting rooms, complemented by amenities such as high-speed internet, office-grade furniture and a pantry with coffee.

Located at Base Line Center along Juana Osmeña Street, WorkNook’s strategic location also provides professionals with convenient access to dining and leisure options.

“WorkNook reflects our vision of creating spaces where today’s professionals can thrive. We’re excited to contribute to Cebu’s dynamic remote work and business scene,” Soberano-Bergundthal said.

According to CLI, WorkNook serves as a milestone in the company’s diversification efforts, contributing to its growing leasing portfolio.

The company said that it has seen significant growth in its commercial leasing portfolio, with 9,219 square meters of new leasable space in its portfolio.

Established in 2003 with a single project, CLI currently has a diverse portfolio of residential, offices, hotels and resorts, co-living, mixed-use and townships.

It has more than 120 projects across 17 key cities in Visayas and Mindanao.
