MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon Tangerines and the Bacoor Strikers, with twice-to-beat advantage as top seeds, eye quick entry into the 2024 Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association finale as they tangle with Rizal St. Gerrard Charity Foundation and Biñan Tatak Gel 1-Pacman party-list, respectively, in the semifinals today at the Bacoor Strike Gym in Cavite.

The Tangerines and their Rizal foes slug it out at 2 p.m. then the Strikers, playing at home, clash with the Volley Angels at 4 p.m.

Quezon and Bacoor enjoy the win-once edge after topping the two-round eliminations, and they’re determined to sustain their drive in the MPVA founded by boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.
