RJ Guitars is first local guitar brand to invade US

MANILA, Philippines —  After almost 40 years of guitar-making experience, RJ Guitars is the first Philippine guitar brand to break into the US market.

Even Fender guitars had to reposition by launching a $119 guitar through its Squire brand. The model does not have stainless steel frets, or steel strips imbedded in the fingerboard neck of guitars, which are critical to the playability of the guitar.
