MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over parts of Luzon on Saturday, September 7.

Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

State weather bureau PAGASA warned of possible flooding or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in the areas.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the southwest monsoon, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rainfall.

In other parts of the country, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers. PAGASA also warned of potential flash floods or landslides during severe weather.
