‘Gaming activity at Solaire North ramping up nicely’

MANILA, Philippines — Gaming activity at Enrique Razon’s latest integrated destination resort in Quezon City is ramping up nicely since starting operations in late May.

Bloomberry Resorts Corp. said that it is pleased with the gaming activity at Solaire Resort North.

“We are pleased that our gaming activity at Solaire North is ramping up nicely in a pattern similar to the ramp up of Solaire Entertainment City in its full year of operation,” Bloomberry president and COO Tom Arasi said.

Solaire Resort North is Bloomberry’s second integrated resort in the country, following Solaire Resort in Parañaque which opened more than a decade ago.

The $1-billion Solaire Resort North held its grand opening on May 25, becoming the first and only five-star integrated resort serving northern Metro Manila and adjacent provinces.

Since opening its doors to the public, the integrated destination resort, which sits on a 1.5-hectare site in Quezon City, has been off to a promising start.

Joy Wassmer, director for public relations and communications of Solaire Resort, earlier said that foot traffic has been good at Solaire Resort North, with patrons enjoying its variety of dining outlets.

Wassmer said Solaire Resort North serves as an urban respite and retreat in Quezon City, redefining luxury hospitality, authentic gastronomy and exciting entertainment.

“A gastronomic parade also awaits guests in Solaire Resort North with tastes from Asia all the way to the West represented in its 14 dining outlets,” she said.

The resort also features 526 keys consisting of deluxe guest rooms measuring 42 to 49 square meters and suites measuring 89 to 382 square meters.

Wassmer said one key highlight of the property is its upscale events venues. The grand ballroom can fit approximately 1,300 guests with concert-style seating and be partitioned into three equally impressive halls. There are also intimate spaces available for more exclusive and personal gatherings.
