MANILA, Philippines — Veteran logistics executive Allan Ancheta recently led the buyout of Intelligent Manpower and Logistics (INT) and was subsequently appointed as the company’s president and CEO.
INT provides manpower and logistics saolutions for e-commerce fulfillment centers, warehouses and delivery networks. Under his leadership, Ancheta envisions the firm to “scale and evolve into being one of the largest employers in the Philippines.”
Ancheta previously led Lazada’s logistics and infrastructure network, wherein he was in charge of overseeing fulfillment centers, sort centers and hubs encompassing first mile, middle mile, sortation, last mile, and reverse logistics.
According to Ancheta, there is significant room for growth in the logistics industry with the continued escalation of e-commerce as its key driver. “With e-commerce’s consistent momentum, there remains a huge opportunity to optimize and streamline manpower and logistics operations,” he said. “Now is also the right time to transform the manpower industry as we know it, catering to the dynamic shifts in operating models of our customers.”
“I’m here to ensure we utilize the best practices in logistics,” Ancheta said. “Our core mission is to ensure a high-performing fleet that serves the interests, objectives, and execution targets of our clients.” To achieve this, he added, INT actively tracks the performance of every unit in its fleet.
“We are the fleet provider and subcontractor of the largest logistics firms. We have a single-minded focus in only running the fleet, so we can fully concentrate on consistently meeting and exceeding key performance indicators and adhering to strict package protection policies,” Ancheta said. “Our efficiency and our results has made us the sub-contractor of choice, and we are happy to continue serving this need for our clientele.”
As for the manpower aspect of logistics, Ancheta outlined that his vision goes beyond providing mere headcount. “Ultimately, the vision is to transform the industry, so that it is solely focused on customer’s pain points in addressing speed, accuracy, efficiencies, and cost management,” Ancheta said.
