Acciona rolls out Smart Control Center

MANILA, Philippines — Spain-based infrastructure conglomerate Acciona has unveiled its pioneering Smart Control Center in line with this year’s observance of World Day for Health and Safety at Work last April 18 at The Tent in Enderun Colleges.

Powered by artificial intelligence, the Smart Control Center offers real-time monitoring and predictive analysis, setting new standards for proactive risk management in the workplace.

Now on its second year, the Acciona Health and Safety Day 2024 was attended by over 200 health and safety professionals from diverse sectors, showcasing the group’s commitment to prioritizing workplace safety and fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability and collaboration.

“Our commitment to innovation is evident in initiatives like our AI-powered smart center, which revolutionizes safety by predicting potential risks and intervening before incidents occur,” said Ruben Camba, managing director at Acciona Southeast Asia Infrastructure.

Representatives from the private and public sector such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) also reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating with various sectors and industry leaders to drive continuous improvement in workplace safety standards.
