DTI seals lease deal with Filinvest
MANILA, Philippines — Gotianun–led property developer Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) is supporting the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)’s plan to consolidate its various operating units with a deal to lease the company’s entire Filinvest Buendia building in Makati to the agency.
FLI, through its office business arm Filinvest Cyberparks Inc., has signed a lease agreement with DTI for the property encompassing 10,668.40 square meters.
The handover of the building is scheduled for next month.
“Filinvest Land is committed to providing top-tier facilities and services that empower organizations to thrive,” FLI president and CEO Tristan Las Marias said.
“Through this partnership, we aim to support DTI in its mission to deliver exceptional public service and to contribute to the advancement of our nation’s economic landscape. We are grateful for their trust and confidence in our company,” he said.
Strategically positioned along Gil Puyat Avenue within Makati’s central business district, the Filinvest Buendia offers 14 floors of premium office space tailored for modern needs.
It is a Grade A building that promotes sustainability and features practical amenities.
FLI said the agreement is part of DTI’s plan to improve efficiency and convenience for both the agency and its stakeholders by consolidating its various operating units.
Among DTI’s functional groups that are set to move to Filinvest Buendia are the Office of the Secretary, Competitiveness and Innovation Group, Consumer Protection Group and the Communications Office.
DTI said the relocation offers heightened accessibility to the agency’s services, benefiting both businesses and consumers.
“Filinvest Buendia provides an optimal environment for our operations, enabling us to enhance our services and better serve the Filipino people,” DTI assistant secretary and management services group supervising head Agaton Uvero said.
FLI said the Filinvest Group stands ready to actively support the government’s initiatives, embracing its role as a dependable partner in nation-building.
“Through dedicated service, Filinvest believes it contributes to the government’s capacity to better serve the Filipino people, aligning with the company’s core purpose of helping build the Filipino dream,” the company said.
