PilotTV bares 2 new Appointments

MANILA, Philippines —  PilotTV Holdings, a leading Taiwan digital signage operator and digital out-of-home media also operating in Japan and the Philippines, has appointed Lou Marie Bognot as its new chief executive officer for the Philippines.

Bognot is promoted from her prior role as chief strategy officer, further expanding her responsibilities to include the planned expansion of the Philippine operations.

Her 32-year career in industries such as advertising, media and retail marketing – holding management posts in McCann Worldgroup’s Harrison Communications and SM Retail – provide a unique mindset and approach that drive business growth and innovation for the company.

“PilotTV-PH is a new company that has survived the impact of the pandemic and various economic challenges.  With its committed team, collaborative partner network, and the strong support from other parts of PilotTV organization, my mission is to look ahead to help redefine and evolve the mediascape in our country”, Bognot said of her appointment.  She succeeds Jason Uy.

Uy is elevated to PTV-Holding’s chairman’s office in charge of Strategic Initiatives while retaining his role as president of PilotTV-PH.

With a career spanning 29 years holding executive positions in brand and retail management both in Singapore and the Philippines, Uy’s promotion will set the pace for regional growth and alliances.

“Lou’s involvement with PTV-PH since founding has been instrumental to its success.  I am happy to see Lou leading this new chapter of growth.  At the same time, I look forward to starting our strategic initiatives for the Southeast Asia region, including the Philippines,”  Uy said.
