MANILA, Philippines —  Listed Axelum Resources Corp. has unveiled an infrastructure civil project – a secondary-level hospital in Misamis Oriental, where the company’s main production facility is located.

In a disclosure yesterday, Axelum through its civic affiliate, AMDG Foundation launched the San Isidro Polymedic General Hospital in Gingoog City.

Romeo Chan, chairman and CEO of Axelum Resources, said that through the hospital, the company hopes to help the local communities in Mindanao.

Axelum said the state-of-the-art medical center is equipped with 100-beds and offers a comprehensive suite of services including hemodialysis, emergency room, intensive care, extended  laboratory and diagnostics, radiology, surgery, delivery room, neonatal, outpatient clinics, pharmacy and other essential amenities.

The hospital is in partnership with the Cagayan de Oro Polymedic Medical Group owned by Dr. Ruben and Dra. Josephine Go.

San Isidro Polymedic General Hospital is manned by a diverse roster of doctors, nurses, and experienced medical support staff, Axelum said.

“At Axelum, our overarching goal is to combat poverty through livelihood, education, and now through healthcare. We believe that every Filipino deserves access to quality medical  services and modern facilities. With the opening of this new hospital, we aim to provide professional healthcare to the local communities and indigenous people of Northern Mindanao,” said Chan.

The hospital opened last year, according to the website Project Lupad.

San Isidro Polymedic General Hospital is targeting to serve a population of more than 350,000 local residents.

Moving forward, it aims to become a premier end-referral hospital in the region.

San Isidro Polymedic General Hospital also planned initiatives to expand into highly-specialized treatments and services.

“We would like to thank our partners and private donors for helping turn this vision into reality. We are blessed to work alongside like-minded individuals who share in our commitment of addressing social vulnerabilities,” Chan also said.
