2GO partners with MSMEs

MANILA, Philippines — 2GO, part of the SM Group, has partnered with micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to cater to their logistics needs through a new initiative.

The company, which provides end-to-end logistics, transportation and distribution solutions,  recently introduced 2GO Getters, a “community of MSMEs, start-up companies and anyone who aspires to build their business empire in need of delivery services.” 

The SM Group said it is committed to helping MSMEs.

“We understand the role we play in helping enable small businesses to flourish and grow. The synergy among the companies under the SM Group provides greater access and allows MSMEs to reach new markets and thrive,” said Frederic DyBuncio, president and CEO of SM Investments and concurrently president and CEO of 2GO.

Created to empower small businesses, 2GO Getters is an initiative dedicated to providing MSMEs with the tools they need to compete in the market. 

Through this initiative, 2GO offers growth-focused workshops, online promotional campaigns, and networking opportunities.

Ollocal, which sells locally produced products including coconut-based goods, is part of the 2GO Getters community. 

Its founder, Chriz Valdez said the company’s goal is to showcase the talent and craftsmanship of Filipino artisans on the global stage with the help of 2GO.

Her specialty stores are found at SM Malls in Cavite and a pop-up store at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay.

“We forged our partnership with 2GO a few months ago. Our partnership with them has proven to be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of our goods. Their reliable and trustworthy approach to logistics has helped us streamline our supply chain and meet the demands of our customers effectively,” she said.

2GO has 17 ports of call covering major hubs in the country while its retail stores serve as convenient pickup and drop off locations.

At present, 2GO is the largest point-to-point transportation and logistics provider in the country. It has five business units, namely 2GO Sea Solutions, 2GO Special Containers and Value-Added Services (SCVASI), 2GO Express, 2GO Forwarding and 2GO Logistics.
