Isuzu launches new D-max Limited

MANILA, Philippines — Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) continues to upgrade its offerings to the Philippine market as it launches the D-MAX Limited pickup truck.

“Now on its 3rd generation, the D-MAX model has seen significant changes in its design, performance and safety features,” IPC said in a statement.

The company stressed that the model has been in the country since 2003 and over the years has proven to be a favorite among Filipino families due to its durability, reliability and fuel efficiency.

“The new Isuzu D-MAX Limited makes the already appealing D-MAX pick-up even more attractive to those looking for added character on their vehicle. Designed with uniqueness and individuality in mind, this vehicle is fit for those with a deeper passion in life, especially the adventurous type,” IPC president Tetsuya Fujita said.

IPC said the new model is strategically positioned to compete with other accessorized pick-up in the market.

Among its distinct features is its newly designed blackout grille with an eye-catching red Isuzu logo accentuating its front, while it features a gray streak body graphics with red limited logo that extends all the way to its tailgate on its side

“Completing its aggressive exterior is this newly designed Sidestep Board, for non-slip easy ingress and egress of its driver and passengers,” IPC said.

Anticipating the active lifestyle of the owners of these variants, we also gave this variant a newly designed premium DMAX Limited Carpet, made with high quality material, providing a premium look and protection inside the cabin,” it added.

IPC also announced that all of these exterior and interior accessories are designed by Isuzu Accessories and Service Parts, Thailand (IAST), so their customers can be assured of the quality and durability of these accessory packages.

The D-MAX Limited, priced at P1.58 million, will be available in all Isuzu dealerships within the month.

“Running on the reliable 3.0L 4JJ3-TCX Blue Power engine, the new D-MAX Limited is capable to produce 190PS maximum power and 450 N-m maximum torque, enough for any adventure,” IPC said.

“Add to that, the new variant now has 17” Satin Black Finish Alloy Wheels fitted with a 265/70 R17 All-Terrain tires that is coupled with a Monotube Nitrogen Charged Performance Shock Absorber with rigid rear shackles - increasing its ground clearance to 260mm, while still providing the vehicle stability, and control even when traversing challenging roads,”it added.
