Puregold outreach programs get boost from anniv promos
MANILA, Philippines — Grocery chain Puregold Price Club Inc. is raising funds for its social advocacies through a slew of promotional campaigns in line with its anniversary celebration.
“Puregold through the years has consistently given its shoppers the most value for their money. To mark this year’s anniversary, however, we went over and beyond by sharing our largesse with the community,” its president, Vincent Co, said.
“Puregold’s phenomenal growth through the years has inspired it to create synergies in the system and introduce positive changes in the community,” he said. “We hope that our collaborative projects will prove beneficial – both in the short and long term – for our charitable and conservation efforts.”
The company’s Panalo Cup for Back to School promo, which allowed customers to buy limited edition cups featuring the designs of celebrity endorsers former senator Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, helped raise funds for Hospicio de San Jose, a haven for orphans, abandoned and neglected children, and the elderly.
In collaboration with Visar Society, Puregold also crafted a series of anniversary-themed, custom art tote bags personally designed by brand ambassador and SB19 member Justin de Dios, the sale of which helped raise money for the La Mesa watershed.
Other exciting promos lined up include a series of store-wide sales touting various price-offs and bundle offers for savvy bargain hunters. These events are set to take place from Oct. 14 to 15, and then again on Nov. 18 to 19.
