Megaworld expands footprint in Uptown
MANILA, Philippines — Andrew Tan-led Megaworld Corp. is further expanding its residential footprint within its 15.4-hectare Uptown Bonifacio township in Taguig City.
The company is launching its sixth residential condominium tower, the 54-storey Uptown Modern, in the township as a response to the changing needs of condo buyers.
Megaworld expects to generate around P29 billion in sales from this tower, scheduled for completion by 2032.
“For Uptown Modern, our vision is to cater to the evolving needs of today’s condo dwellers by developing an all-in-one residential address that integrates luxury and sustainability,” said Noli Hernandez, executive vice president for sales and marketing.
The units have various layouts that come furnished with appliances and smart home technology.
Uptown Modern will likewise feature electric vehicle charging facilities in all of its seven parking floors located at the basement and podium levels in response to customers’ needs for emerging mobility solutions, particularly the growing use of electric vehicles.
This will be the company’s first residential condominium tower in Metro Manila to have such an e-vehicle facility, Hernandez said.
Megaworld will offer more than 1,000 units in varying unit sizes ranging from studio with to three bedroom spaces with balcony.
The development will also include six sky gardens located on the 14th, 27th, 39th, and 47th floors of the tower. Aside from this, there will also be two roof gardens located on the 39th and 47th floors.
Exclusive amenities include infinity pool with jacuzzi and its own pool deck, kiddie pool with aquatic playground, gazebos, lounge areas, outdoor function area, sunken lawn, activity lawn, children’s playground, and an outdoor fitness gym featuring a variety of energy-generating equipment.
Other amenities also include an indoor fitness center, game room, music room, and daycare center. There will also be an expansive entertainment suite with a garden lanai, dry pantry, and a mini-bar where residents can also host parties and special events.
The ground level of the tower will have its own retail shops including dining outlets.
