MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Retailers Association (PRA), the national organization of retailers, shopping malls and suppliers in the country, will hold the 2nd Retail Leaders Summit on Oct. 24 at Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City.
With the theme “Retail Rewired: Leadership in a Time of Change,” the first-ever face-to-face summit has evolved into a crucial platform that unites visionaries, learners, researchers, developers and industry builders designed to bolster both the personal growth of present and future leaders and the business expansion of enterprises.
The Retail Leaders Summit underscores the importance of embracing ongoing transformations and empowering leaders with the necessary tools and mindset to excel in these dynamic times. Consequently, this year’s focus centers on six core competencies: retail leadership, shopper engagement, emerging channels, store experience, people-driven talent development, and brand strategy.
PRA president Roberto Claudio Sr., chairman emeritus of Quorum Holdings Corp. (Toby’s Sports), emphasizes that this summit is not just about preparing the industry for what’s on the horizon; it’s about fostering growth and facilitating success for all participants.
“This represents a remarkable opportunity for leaders who are dedicated to enhancing their leadership prowess. The summit stands as a platform to forge a personal network that will amplify your abilities, support your team, and undoubtedly, bolster your respective organizations,” he said.
The summit expects to draw a crowd of over 200 business leaders, top executives, senior and middle managers, supervisors, SMEs, startups, entrepreneurs and cross-sector organizations. It provides an invaluable platform for delving into how leaders and organizations are reevaluating their core skills and adopting adaptable strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness in the ever-evolving landscape.
