MANILA, Philippines — The National Electrification Administration (NEA) has teamed up with Cisco Philippines to accelerate the digitization of the state-run agency’s command center dashboard project.
The project is part of the NEA’s modernization program in monitoring operations of the electric cooperatives nationwide.
The partnership underscores the integration of expertise by leveraging technologies and digital tools to enhance and redefine business processes and models of electric cooperatives.

NEA, meanwhile, is mandated to carry out the total electrification of the country on an area coverage basis, with the 121 electric cooperatives as the implementing arm.
It has committed to achieving total electrification of the country by 2028, which President Marcos has vowed to push within his term.
“We in NEA, together with the 121 electric cooperatives, are prepared for the coming challenges and are ready to meet them,” NEA administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda earlier said.
