Best workplaces for IT-BPM sector in Philippines identified

MANILA, Philippines — The Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) and Great Place to Work have unveiled the list of the best workplaces in the country’s information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) sector.

In a statement, the IBPAP said this is the country’s first industry list of high-trust and high-performance IT-BPM organizations.

Synchrony Global Services Philippines Inc. topped the list, followed by Accenture Philippines in second place, and Via Appia Philippines Inc. in third place.

Other IT-BPM organizations in the Top 15 are Teleperformance Philippines, 3M Global Service Center – Philippines, American Express  International Inc., Genesys Cloud Services Cayman Ltd., Genpact Philippines, Asurion, [24]7.ai Philippines, Booth and Partners, Navitaire Philippines Inc., Goodyear Business Services Manila, KMC Solutions and Amadeus Marketing Philippines Inc.

Meanwhile, those in the Top 16 to 30 are Connext, ECo Global Consulting, Kollab, Tech One Global Phils. Inc., Tech Mahindra Ltd. ADP Philippines Inc., Rocket Station, Limitless Connect, J4RVIS, Five9 Philippines Inc., Arcanys, HelpGrid, Lexmark Research and Development Corp., Infinit-O and Cobenn Business Consultancy Services.

The list is based on a survey of employees who were asked about their experiences of trust and reaching their full potential as part of the organization.

It also considered the organization’s size, workforce and industry standards.

Antoniette Mendoza-Talosig, managing partner at Great Place To Work Philippines, said organizations part of the list are pursuing the IBPAP 2028 roadmap through the creation of high-trust workplaces. “They maximize their human potential through leadership effectiveness, values, and trust. With these, innovation and financial growth take place. These are the characteristics of a Great Place To Work For All or what we call a For All culture,” she said.

Based on the Great Place To Work surveys from January 2022 to May 2023, 94 percent of IT-BPM employees in best workplaces experience a high-trust workplace culture.

IBPAP president and CEO Jack Madrid said the list shows why IT-BPM is one of the most dynamic sectors in the country.

“Each of these IT-BPM companies exemplifies what the sector is all about—great workplaces make great people and great people make great workplaces. IBPAP takes pride in the fact that they are part of our vibrant industry, and that 16 of the 30 organizations included in the list are our esteemed members,” he said.
