MANILA, Philippines — Security Bank Corp. continues to expand its footprint by opening two more branches in Metro Manila to strengthen customer relationships and accelerate revenue growth.

The bank opened a new “Branch Lite” in Intramuros, Manila City and relocates existing branch in Banawe, Quezon City.

Branch banking is an integral channel in providing the human touch in an increasingly digital landscape.

Leslie Cham, executive vice president and branch banking head at Security Bank, said the Intramuros Branch Lite, located at the ground floor of the Herald Building at 61 Muralla Street, aims to deliver on the bank’s unique BetterBanking promise in this bustling historical district.

The Branch Lite features a compact set-up equipped with a virtual nook, which is a dedicated area wherein clients can have calls with Security Bank’s Investment experts.

“Intramuros has kept its historic charm and remains one of Manila’s busiest areas with many business, leisure, cultural, and educational establishments. We are confident that this new branch will deliver on its high market potential, give our clients access to BetterBanking service, and help us achieve our vision to become the most customer-centric bank in the Philippines,” Cham said.

Security Bank relocated its Banawe, Quezon City branch from GLC Building to Maro RLMC Building to better serve and welcome more clients in Quezon City’s prime business district.

“Our relocation to the Maro RLMC Building in Banawe, Quezon City is strategic as it gives us better visibility to various businesses around the area, such as automotive stores, health providers, BPOs, and media services, among others,” Cham said.

The two branches feature the bank’s revamped branch design, featuring a transformed space with a digital corner for online transactions, a re-designed space for face-to-face interactions, and a self-service area to address client needs.

Security Bank hopes to continue to expand its BetterBanking presence to achieve its goal of becoming the most customer-centric bank in the Philippines.

As of the end of March, the 71-year old bank had a total of 317 branches and 663 ATMs, cash recycler machines and cash acceptance machines.
