Maya taps PhilCare for all-in-one health card
MANILA, Philippines — Digital banking app Maya has partnered with pioneering health maintenance organization (HMO) PhilCare to launch an innovative all-in-one card that combines the best of healthcare and digital financial services.
Maya Group president Shailesh Baidwan said the digital bank’s extensive services ecosystem continues to enhance financial services.
“With the all-in-one health card, we’re making it easier for PhilCare members and partner doctors to complete reimbursements and receive benefits as they enjoy access to world-class digital banking and payment services,” Baidwan said.
As an HMO ID, the PhilCare-Maya card gives its members access to over 1,700 accredited medical providers throughout the country. The card also allows members to complete medical reimbursements from any ATM.
The card also serves as a lifestyle payment card for purchases and as a privilege card for rewards and vouchers from affiliated merchants.
Cardholders could also make safe and instant payments online and in-store, both locally and worldwide.
By linking the card to the Maya app, they can enjoy the full suite of Maya services, including its high-interest savings, e-wallet, credit, and investments.
PhilCare president and CEO Jaeger Tanco said that the partnership with Maya would make processes even easier not only for partners and clients, but also for providers and stakeholders.
“When it comes to our commitment to smarter healthcare, we aim to cover everything. This includes connecting our members not just to doctors and healthcare facilities across the country. It also means giving them convenient access to institutions that help make their lives happy and comfortable,” Tanco said.
Maya Bank is the digital banking arm of Voyager Innovations, the leading technology company in the Philippines.
