MANILA, Philippines — In compliance with Republic Act 11036 or the National Mental Health Act mandating all organizations to provide a mental wellness program for all employees, the Center for Global Best Practices will host a stress management program titled “Mindfulness in the Workplace” on May 19 and 22, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. via Zoom.
This two-session online masterclass is for everyone who wants to learn best practices techniques and new skills to manage stress, prevent burnout, and optimize well-being. Additionally, those who will attend this program will benefit with being able to focus better, learn faster, work a lot more productively, maintain emotional balance, cultivate positive emotions, and overcome obstacles with clarity and ease.
Learn from the mindfulness mentor of University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Sunshine Cariño, who has been teaching mindfulness for industry leaders, professionals, rank-and-file in both the public and private sectors. She holds a certification to teach mindfulness from the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She also trained with the Centre for Mindfulness Studies to facilitate mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for people with depression and anxiety in 2018.
Registration is open to the general public.
