MANILA, Philippines — International express service provider DHL Express is spending P254 million for the relocation of its Ortigas Center facility to a larger venue as part of efforts to further improve its services to meet the demands of its customers.
In a statement, DHL said the new facility with a lot area of 4,768 square meters is located at the Good Harvest Complex, just a few minutes away from the old facility along C. Raymundo Avenue in Pasig City.
With this facility, DHL Express said it would continue to serve the needs of new and regular customers in Pasig City, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, San Juan, Marikina, Cainta and Taytay, Rizal.
It said walk-in customers can easily book or drop their shipments at the DHL retail outlet conveniently located at the entrance of the facility.
The company emphasized that the investment marks the ongoing commitment of DHL Express in the Philippines to provide world-class infrastructure to serve its customers.
“Our investment in the Ortigas Service Center reaffirms our commitment to enhancing our services to meet the needs and changing demands of our customers with the highest standard of excellence,” said Nigel Lockett, country manager of DHL Express Philippines.
“This also demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and decreasing our carbon footprint with the installation of solar panels, LED lights and battery-operated forklifts for energy conservation and the deployment of electric vehicles to serve the area,”he said.
DHL said the Ortigas Service Center comprises three warehouses, a customer retail outlet and state-of-the-art material handling equipment. It is equipped with 94 CCTV cameras capable of tracking shipments throughout the entire process within the service center.
