HausTalk to develop Laguna property
MANILA, Philippines — HausTalk Inc. (HTI) is looking to develop a 12-hectare property in Biñan, Laguna into a mixed economic and residential complex.
The project is expected to generate about P3.8 billion upon completion, with initial revenues slated to begin within the year, HTI said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange.
HTI likewise launched The Celestis, a P500 million middle-class housing project in the Antipolo area that is expected to generate another 100 residential units by its completion in 2023.
The development is expected to add another P200 million in earnings for the group.
These initiatives are part of the company’s growth plans, said HTI president Maria Rachel Madlambayan as she expressed optimism about the company’s continued strong performance on the back of the country’s economic recovery.
“HausTalk delivers quality, affordable and long-lasting homes to customers and this continued in the last two years. With restrictions easing up further, we anticipate efficient and better builds wherever our projects are located. Our marketing and sales team have also seen an increase in interest as buyers have come to realize the importance of investing in their own home, having spent more time in their house during the pandemic,” Madlambayan said.
The company posted a comprehensive net income of P85 million, up 430 percent from P16 million a year ago.
HTI earlier launched the 50 Jocson Residences Project, a high-end horizontal project located in Barangay Loyola Heights, Quezon City where seven high-end residential units with an average floor area of 286 square meters per unit will be built.
The firm expects the development to generate around P325 million in revenues from the sale of the units. Earnings are expected to reach P108 million. The project is slated for completion by the end of 2023.
Land banking also remains a top priority for management to sustain the expansion plans projected for the next three to five years.
A recent purchase of a 12-hectare property in Biñan, Laguna using internally generated funds will go toward a mixed economic and residential complex.
The planned project is expected to generate about P3.8 billion upon completion, with initial revenues expected to begin within the year.
