RUSH taps Ayala’s Asticom Technology

MANILA, Philippines — E-commerce enabler RUSH has tapped the talent pool of Ayala-led Asticom Technology Inc. in relocating micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to the digital space.

RUSH has announced that it signed an agreement with Asticom Technology to deliver the digital transformation needed by MSMEs for business to thrive in the new normal.

Under the agreement, Asticom Technology will provide people solutions that RUSH demands to speed up the business growth of MSMEs.

As a firm engaged in shared services, Asticom Technology will provide the talent resources that RUSH needs for its day-to-day operations, business development and marketing efforts.

RUSH CEO Stephanie Kubota said the partnership would allow RUSH to expand its teams.

“Asticom Technology made sure that hiring and looking after the welfare of talents doesn’t need to be complicated. Thanks to their business expertise and their wide professional network, they connect us with the resources who fit our organization perfectly, making it much easier for us to grow our teams,” Kubota said.

Asticom Group of Companies president Mharicar Castillo-Reyes said that Asticom Technology would supply the talent that RUSH requires in servicing its MSME clients.

“Through our people, we aim to empower RUSH in their continuous growth and support them in building lasting relationships with their customers,” Reyes said.

“We are excited to witness the fruits that this new partnership will bear,” she said.

RUSH serves as one of the nine startups supported by 917Ventures, the corporate incubator of Globe Telecom Inc. The firm strives to become the go-to partner of MSMEs hoping to introduce their goods and products in the digital space.

RUSH’s flagship platform eStore is a comprehensive e-commerce solution that provides multiple optimization channels for MSMEs. eStore allows front line employees to manage orders and register customers and enables owners to maintain a dashboard to see the performance of their business.

Asticom Technology, for its part, functions as a shared services firm under the Asticom Group of Companies of the Ayala Group.

The firm takes advantage of the enlarging ecosystem of startups in the Philippines to generate job opportunities for Filipinos.
