Nestle appoints new corporate affairs head
MANILA, Philippines — Nestlé Philippines chairman and CEO Kais Marzouki has announced the appointment of Jose Uy III as senior vice president and head of corporate affairs effective this month. Prior to this appointment, he was the business executive officer of Lifestyle Beverages & Confectionery in the country.
Uy joined Nestlé in 1990, starting in sales then moving to marketing where he contributed to the growth and development of various Nestlé brands in dairy, pet care, food, cereals, confectionery, ready-to-drink and dairy culinary, as well as Milo and Nestea.
He brings 32 years of management and leadership experience to corporate affairs where he will spearhead public affairs, corporate communications, and sustainability including creating shared value initiatives of Nestlé Philippines.
He is a graduate of De La Salle University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing management.
