Globe unit eyes expansion in AsPac

MANILA, Philippines — Asti Business Services Inc. (ABSI), a subsidiary of Globe Telecom Inc.’s Asticom Group of Companies, is gearing up to bring its expertise to Asia-Pacific region following its first successful year in operation.

ABSI, which was launched in January 2021, has served over 60 clients across various industries, led almost 150 projects to fruition, and managed close to 1,400 people in just a year.

The company is hoping to capture a big market outside the Philippines, particularly Asia-Pacific as it aims to become the number one shared services center in Asia by 2029.

ABSI offers managed services such as business service outsourcing (BSO) and information technology (IT), and digital platform services like customer experience and employee engagement.

It aims to help sectors such as telecommunications, IT, banking, finance, logistics, and e-commerce further improve businesse performance.

To better address client business requirements, ABSI continues to grow its centers of expertise in digital solutions, HR, finance, customer experience and corporate services.

The company said it targets to productize existing solutions and continue building packaged solutions.

ABSI in November last year acquired HR solutions company HCX Technology Partners Inc. from Ayala Corp.
