MANILA, Philippines — Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. (TMP) has opened a new dealership in Lucena, Quezon to reach more customers.
In a statement, TMP said the new dealership is expected to play an important role in the growing local economy of Quezon, the sixth largest province in the country.
The province is a haven for beautiful beaches and mountain trekking sites including the world famous Mount Banahaw.
Apart from Quezon, the new dealership is also expected to serve fast-growing provinces like Rizal and Bicol.
Covering over 13,380 square meters, the dealership will have an expansive workshop to service Toyota vehicles.
“At Toyota Lucena City, we aim to give you the ultimate Toyota experience. From getting your Toyota vehicle, upkeeping to the best conditions, and even when you choose to upgrade, we want to be your mobility partner for life,” dealer franchise owner Nathaniel Fandiño said.
Apart from serving customers, the new dealership is expected to create new job opportunities in the area, as well as give a boost to local tourism.
The new dealership is open from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
TMP remained the leading automotive brand in the country as of end-October with a 48.31 percent market share.
For the January to October period, TMP sold a total of 103,475 vehicles, 38.2 percent higher than the 74,848 units in the same period last year.
